Cloth and construction

Begin with how it should feel and perform.

Suits are commonly made in worsted wool, flannel, linen, cotton, mohair blends, silk blends, velvet, corduroy and tweed. The right choice depends on climate, occasion, drape and the degree of structure desired.

Each swatch below includes an indicative composition, material weight and seasonal use. Actual colour, handle and weight are confirmed against available cloth before the commission proceeds.
