Website and quotation terms
The website helps a client prepare a private brief. Sending a form does not itself create an order or require payment.
Last updated: 11 July 2026
1. Website purpose
The suit and shoe configurators are enquiry and quotation tools. They allow you to describe a proposed bespoke, made-to-measure, made-to-design or standard-size commission.
2. No automatic contract
A submitted request is not acceptance of an order. A contract arises only when the scope, material, construction, timing, fitting requirements, quotation and any payment terms have been confirmed and accepted in writing.
3. Quotations
Quotations may depend on cloth or leather availability, design complexity, pattern or last work, number of fittings, delivery location and requested timing. A quotation may have an acceptance period and may be revised where the request changes or relevant information was incomplete.
4. Images, colours and swatches
Website illustrations and digital swatches are guides only. Screens display colour differently, and an illustrated texture cannot reproduce the handle, sheen, scale or weight of a physical material. Final material should be confirmed through an actual swatch, sample or written specification where appropriate.
5. Measurements and fittings
You should provide accurate measurements and explain known posture, asymmetry, mobility, fit or orthotic requirements. Ezra & Co may ask for measurements to be repeated, request photographs, recommend a professional measurer or require a fitting before production.
6. Uploaded designs
By uploading an image or design, you confirm that you are entitled to share it for the requested purpose. A reference may be interpreted rather than copied exactly where construction, rights, safety, material behaviour or house standards require a change.
7. Bespoke and personalised goods
Custom, altered and personalised work is made for an identified client. Cancellation, alteration, fitting, remake, refund and deposit terms will be set out in the written terms for the particular commission and remain subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Timing
Any requested completion date is a preference until it is expressly confirmed. Timing may be affected by material availability, fittings, client response time, design changes, production requirements and delivery conditions.
9. Website availability
The website may be changed, suspended or withdrawn for maintenance, security or business reasons. Ezra & Co does not guarantee that every design combination shown can be produced exactly as selected.
10. Liability and statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that qualification, website information should not be treated as a final technical specification until confirmed in the written commission documents.
11. Governing framework
Unless a written commission states otherwise, these website terms are intended to operate under the law of England and Wales. The appropriate forum for any dispute will depend on the parties, the commission and any mandatory consumer rules.
