Privacy notice
This notice explains how Ezra & Co uses information submitted through the website, including measurements, design references and contact details.
Last updated: 11 July 2026
1. Who is responsible for the information
Ezra & Co is the controller of personal information submitted through this website. Privacy enquiries may be sent to ezraandco@protonmail.com.
2. Information the website may collect
The forms may collect your name, email address, telephone number, country or location, consultation preferences, garment or footwear choices, standard sizes, body or foot measurements, fit notes, requested completion date and messages.
You may also choose to upload photographs, measurement sheets, sketches, technical drawings, foot outlines or other design references. Please avoid uploading information that is unnecessary for the commission.
3. Why the information is used
The information is used to review your enquiry, understand the requested commission, assess material and construction requirements, prepare a quotation, arrange consultation or fitting, communicate with you and keep an appropriate record of the request.
Where a request becomes an order, further information may be processed under the terms agreed for that commission.
4. Legal grounds
Information is generally processed because you have asked Ezra & Co to take steps before entering into a contract, because it is necessary to perform an agreed commission, or because the house has a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, maintaining request records and protecting the website from misuse. Where consent is specifically requested, it may be withdrawn for future processing.
5. Measurements and photographs
Measurements and fitting photographs can reveal information about physical characteristics. They are used only so far as reasonably necessary to assess or complete the requested tailoring or shoemaking service. Do not submit medical information unless it is relevant to fit, comfort, mobility or an orthotic requirement.
6. Who may receive the information
Information may be available to people who need it to review, quote, make, fit, deliver or administer the commission, together with hosting, email, storage or professional service providers acting for Ezra & Co. Information is not sold.
7. How long information is kept
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are normally retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage follow-up and maintain business records. Records connected with an order may be retained longer for fitting continuity, accounting, legal or customer-service reasons. You may ask whether an inactive request can be deleted.
8. Security
The supplied website stores requests outside the public web directories where the server configuration is followed. It also validates file types, limits upload sizes, uses anti-forgery tokens and records only a one-way hash of the submitting IP address. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Cookies
The supplied website uses a temporary session cookie for form security and continuity. It does not include advertising cookies or analytics by default. Additional services added by the website owner may require this notice and any cookie controls to be updated.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may ask for access to information held about you, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an explanation of the processing, and you may object in appropriate circumstances. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
11. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website, service providers or business practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
